Stephenson Bros formed in Bradford, Yorkshire, England in 1856 originally manufacturing soap based agents for the processing of wool, along with Furniture Wax and Polish products (Stephenson Furniture Polish).

Now Stephenson, we manufacture a range soap bases, syndets and naturally derived esters for cosmetic, skincare and hair care applications. Supported by over 150 years of technical expertise, we combine innovation with a flexible approach to deliver tailer made, natural and sustainable solutions. Packaging options

Small to Medium

Our bases are available in 1kg trays, 4.5kg buckets, 11.5kg boxes and 25kg kegs. The type of packaging is dependent on the product*.

Medium to Large

For larger batches of product, we offer 25kg kegs, 200kg drums and 1 tonne IBC’s.

*Not all bases are available in every option.

A solid foundation for a sustainable future

To preserve the future of our planet, the customers we work with and our business, we must focus on our environmental impact and how sustainable our processes, manufacturing and products are. We’ve launched an ambitious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project to become a more sustainable business.

From 2024, we invested in comprehensive metering across all operations, rigorous data validation processes, and a standardised carbon footprint methodology. FY2024/25 is our official baseline year — the foundation everything else is built on.
