Water Treatment

De-Chlorination
We are the main suppliers of the cutting edge Re-Pro system. Designed to disinfect potable water mains and then De-chlorinate the expelled treated water before discharge to Waste. The Re-Pro system is a highly efficient and cost-effective way for contractors and water companies to disinfect a main without contravening Environment Agency recommendations.
The Re-Pro System
The Re-Pro system has been designed to support water companies and contractors in their bid to reduce water-loss from leaking mains.
Before a main can enter service, it must be filled with chlorinated water, to a level of 50ppm. This chlorinated water must then be removed.
However, draining this water away as waste is prohibited by the Environment Agency due to the risk of it polluting natural water courses.
The Re-Pro System enables users to effectively chlorinate and then quantitatively De-chlorinate this water using D-Chlor tablets. These Sodium Sulphite based tablets offer a reliable and proven way to remove chlorine, without having the resort to a “first flush of de-chlorination” that can be required when using Sulphite crystals.
To demonstrate the benefits of the Re-Pro system, we offer these units to contractors and water companies for a free 8-week trial.
Sewage
We are experts in effective Odour Control for sewage treatment plants. As an official distributor for Carus Chemical Corp, we are proud to supply a range of solid and liquid Permanganate under the Econox and Carusol brand.
The Econox and Carusol Brands are highly effective, easy to handle and doesn’t require expensive dissolution equipment.
For reducing compounds such as Sulphides, Mercaptans, Amines and Phenolics we offer a choice of Permanganate based solutions.
Biological Larvicides
We are proud to be exclusive distributors of Sumitomo Chemical’s range of Biological Larvicides. This range of products are based on the Bti (Bacillus thurungiensis var israelensis – Strain AM65-52) moiety and are labelled and classified under the New UK/EU Regulatory Directive.
EU and UK BPR: Bactimos SC for effective control of Nuisance Sewage Filter Fly.
VectoBac AS: For the control of Mosquitos and Blackfly.
Gnatrol SC: A specially designed plant protection product for use on protected ornamentals, for the control of Sciiarid, Phorid larvae and fungus gnats.
Drinking Water
With an extensive understanding of pre-oxidation of drinking water, for the removal of Iron and Manganese, Resource Chemicals offer the solution of liquid-based Sodium products as well as the more traditional Potassium Permanganate.
Carusol, a cutting-edge liquid sodium product, allows contaminants to be removed more efficiently due to increased ease of handling and application.

As experts in ISCO, Resource Chemicals can advise and supply our clients with the correct oxidant chemicals and delivery mechanism for successful remediation of groundwater contamination. This multi-step process is overseen by our experienced team who will investigate the site-specific oxidant demand and adjust the work plan to the specific field conditions.
As distributors for Carus Chemical Corporation, Resource Chemicals offer RemOx, a leading brand of potassium and sodium permanganates which have been designed to meet the strict regulatory requirements for underground injections.
Aerobic Bio Stimulation
Resource Chemcials partner with Carus Chemical Corporation to bring our clients Stimulox, a cutting-edge aerobic bioremediation product. Designed to stimulate the natural aerobic degradation of petroleum hydrocarbons. Stimulox is a proprietary blend of peroxygen chemicals that releases oxygen, fixed nitrogen, and other nutrients into the ground upon release to stimulate natural degradation.
